Wordle 4 picks up from where game #3 ended, fulfilling the (sole) condition of my personal Wordle challenge.

I will try solving one more past Wordle before letting my brain rest 🙂

Step-by-Step Replay of Wordle 4 Puzzle

Guess #1

HUMPH is not likely to yield much for hints, but here goes…

Guess #2

Zero clues, not unexpected. Now “regular” puzzle solving can begin in earnest lol. STARE is worth a shot.

Guess #3

Ok, we have letters A and E fixed at slots 3 and 5. The I and O don’t look likely in the remaining spaces, so I’ll skip them. A_E here can use a C, D, G, K, L, N, V or Z as the bridging letter. CLANG would be a good filter, I’m thinking.

Guess #4

Alright, that leaves ADE, AKE, AVE and AZE as possibilities to end the mystery word. But without the L or R in there, I see AWAKE as the strongest option.

Mark's gameplay for Wordle 4
Relatively easy going gameplay for Wordle 4, Challenge Mode not withstanding.

Nailed that nicely 🙂

Wordle 4 gameplay was smooth-going, thankfully. It felt more like the daily rounds I’ve been playing so far, very different from the mind-wrecking puzzles from the previous 2 games!

I’ve had fun with the first 4 Wordle games. Trying at times, yes; but at the same time enjoyable.

If you’re new to playing older Wordle puzzles, this is now possible to do with the Wordle Archive.

I shall be back for more, most certainly. And staying with my Wordle challenge played the WittyCulus way.
